Mountain House Village is a bigger area with more spacious (less dense) lodging. This was the original base of Keystone Resort and some of the lodging is going to be older than River Run. Some (like the Chateaux Du Monde and Slopeside Condos) are a hop and a skip from the ski slopes but others will require additional transportation planning.

For great family activities, consider a daytrip to Keystone Lake. In the winter, you can bring the ice skates and get on the ice. In the summer, you can rent paddle boats. If you’ve got little ones, bring bags of bread to feed the ducks and geese.

The River Course at Keystone is a Par 71 course built with majestic river views running through it. The course has a slope of 137 and distance of 6886 yards. The Keystone Ranch Course is a Par 72 course with a slope of 130 and 7090 yards in length. It opens in late May through the end of September. Carts are included in the green fees, but you can walk the course.
